03 gt eclipse slap stick issue?
I bought it about 3 months ago used, re painted it etc etc, anyhow I took it out last night for a ride and when I would go off into using the slap stick I noticed it couldn't hit high rpm's and the engine was sounding awfully weird....then I came to a stop put it back into just the normal automatic... it shut off by itself, has 145k miles on it, I figured it's just messed up from the original owner not knowing how to treat a car but if anyone has an answer for this please send your info this way, also I'm not very experienced with the inside of a car. Thank you.
if you were shifting at inappropriate times the on board computer would not let you shift or might bring the rpms down and go into the gear you want. the best idea is just leave it in auto.
